Take a walk through the city streets of Stockholm and this is what you might see.

City lights can be really colorful and vivid at night.
But I also like the black and white versions of these photos.
Since I didn’t want to upload all in either color or bw I decided to upload both versions of every photo. But I do have a couple of favorites. For instance, I prefer “Sergels Torg” in color and “Crane” in black and white.
What’s your take?
Stockholm is really quite a nicy city. Even in the autumn. After a few weeks of gray, dull and rainy days along came this beatuiful day. And just before dusk turned into dark night, I managed to grab my camera and head out.
Lots of photos, fun and hours later – and now my second time lapse is done.
I took Marc along for the first evening of shooting. We took the boat out to Gröna Lund but unfortunately the time lapse of the boat ride didn’t work out. We spent 2-3 hours photographing all over the place (as well as winning a huge Toblerone chocolate just before closing time). I posted some of my still photos in an earlier post. I wanted a shot of the exterior as well and accomplished that on a separate evening from Fjällgatan.
When making a time lapse of things moving as fast as these rides you really need to take a lot of photos within a short time interval in order to get a smooth motion. In some cases I succeeded, in some I didn’t. Lesson learned.
Efter att ha fått blodad tand av time lapse videon i mitt förra inlägg drog jag med Marc på ett nytt försök. Ambitionsnivån och svårighetsgraden höjdes lite den här gången och därför är filmen inte klar (och ytterligare fotografier behöver fortfarande tas).
Platsen var Gröna Lund. Rasslandet av hjul mot räls. Skrik. Musik. Doft av popcorn sockervadd. Och alla dessa blinkande ljus i rörelse.
I väntan på videon så lägger jag upp några av stillbilderna jag tog.
Och som bonus ett bildspel på resultatet av den enda nöjesparksaktivitet
Marc och jag gav oss på.
Efter en härlig höst på Gotland kom vi tillbaka till Stockholm i december och genast upphörde de många och långa fotopromenaderna. Och därmed inläggen här på bloggen.
Men nu är det dags för en uppryckning! Så jag drog med Marc ut till Skeppsholmen en sen och mycket kall kväll. Tre timmar, tre master och tio stenfrusna fingrar senare hade jag i alla fall dessa bilder med mig hem.
